Nestled amidst the beauty of the welsh countryside, this detached farmhouse offers a perfect blend of rustic elegance and contemporary comfort, dog friendly and perfect for a family holiday. llandeilo'r-fan is located between llandovery and brecon, and this lovely village has a church, community hall and a few houses. the nearest shop is in sennybridge (4.5 miles), though a country walk through the bed of the valley takes you to a lovely pub in pentre bach (1.5 miles). there is plenty to see and do within the national park – attractions include the impressive national showcaves for wales at dan yr ogof (15 miles), craig-y-nos country park (16 miles) and 'waterfall country’ at ystradfellte (18 miles) for spectacular cascades. for walkers, pen-y-fan (12 miles) and the black mountain range (15 miles) are both wonderful for treks. other activities include river kayaking on the river wye, salmon fishing on the river usk and pony trekking at centres throughout the park.

A beautiful recently renovated property with attention to detail throughout, set on a hill top location boasting wonderful countryside views and within easy reach of the pretty hamlet of painscastle. within a few minutes’ drive from the excellent village pub and for the more energetic why not try tackling the begwyns, 580 acres of national trust hills and rolling landscape with breath-taking views across the brecon beacon national park. the beacons and river wye have a number of activity providers, offering canoe hire, high rope courses and gorge walking. hay-on-wye, just a short drive away, is renowned for its international book festival, with plenty of second-hand bookshops, an art house cinema and independent shops, as well as the globe at hay. bryngwyn riding centre, a short drive and the royal welsh showground slightly further afield.
