This superbly presented, reverse-level home, designed to maximise the luxurious coastal views, has been furnished and equipped to the highest standards. appledore has a rich history and the maritime museum in the village is worth exploring. wander the narrow yet charming streets where you will find shops, galleries, family pubs serving food, and restaurants. it’s a great base to explore the many local attractions including, rhs rosemoor (10 miles), the big sheep (3 miles), the milky way adventure park, or north devon wake park, both 10 miles, where you can enjoy a variety of water sports. the seaside town of westward ho! (2 miles) is renowned for its sandy beach and unique pebble ridge and there are restaurants, bars, shops, cafes and amusements.
step into the property via a small flight of external steps and head to the front door and into the entrance hall. on either side of the hallway, you will find the sleeping accommodation, including a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room with underfloor heating and a wc, and a double room with an en-suite shower room with underfloor heating and wc. there are also two twin rooms. a family bathroom with a shower over the bath, underfloor heating and a wc completes the ground floor. head up the stairs and take a moment to appreciate the amazing coastal views from this open-plan living space, with sliding doors which open out onto a large balcony with seating. back inside, comfortable seating, stylish decor and the spacious open-plan design make this the perfect backdrop for socialising. the spacious kitchen area with an island unit and stools has everything you need to cater for your stay, and a large dining table makes for memorable mealtimes. a useful utility room sits just off the kitchen and provides additional space, and there’s a handy shower room and wc too. head to the lounge, which has a media wall with a contemporary electric fire and a large smart tv. a separate snug provides younger guests the chance to enjoy the games table as well as games and a smart tv – it’s a great area for family time.
from the lounge, sliding doors lead you outside to the rear garden. head across a small bridge that leads you to a good size enclosed terraced area with private hot tub, garden furniture and a bbq ideal for those lazy summer evenings. from here, you can enjoy views over the estuary. on the upper level, there is an enclosed lawn area with additional seating and to the side is a hot/cold shower, perfect for washing off dogs or sandy toes.

Located in an idyllic woodland setting shared with one other cabin, this sanctuary provides a blend of calm countryside whilst being close to stunning cornish hotspots such as widemouth bay (5 miles) and bude (7 miles). if historic fishing villages are more your style, then you may decide to take the short trip to either boscastle or tintagel which are both within 20 miles. there are fantastic coastal walks, picturesque cycle routes in the area, and eye-catching scenery to admire on bodmin moor and dartmoor, which are both 25 miles away.
entering this contemporary cabin will bring you directly into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. the lounge space is well equipped with a comfortable corner sofa and additional chair in which to enjoy those movie nights around the smart tv. if you would rather make the most of the stunning night sky, there are accompanying chairs and a telescope provided so you can spot stars not visible to the naked eye. the kitchen area has everything you need including an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer and microwave, whilst the dining area seats all guests comfortably at a round table. there are two bedrooms situated just off the living area, one of which contains a double bed with plenty of wardrobe space, whilst the second bedroom provides a tv and bunk bed suitable for both adults and children. completing the inside of this lovely cabin is the shower room containing a waterfall jacuzzi shower with body jets and multi-function hand shower, and a wc.
making your way out into the peaceful surroundings, you’ll see this is really where this property comes into its own. with a private wood-fired hot tub and outdoor seating, it really is the perfect spot to relax after a day of adventures. you even have free roam of the woods in which the cabin is based for some exploring. there is private parking for two cars.

Found in an unspoiled woodland area of devon just south of the charming historic market town of south molton, this beautiful lodge is ideally placed for those looking for a rural escape with family and those with dogs. it is conveniently located to explore the dramatic coastline and some of north devon’s finest beaches, including westward ho!, saunton, woolacombe, instow and croyde for surfers and swimmers alike. or if you are a walker or cyclist, the tarka trail, exmoor national park and nearby routes through the surrounding countryside make a perfect adventure in any season. other attractions in the area include quince honey farm with its all-weather indoor play area, rhs rosemoor gardens, national trust properties and gardens, dartington crystal, golf courses and an array of lovely villages with quiet pubs.

Set in a rural location close to barnstaple is this superb property, boasting so much to see and do nearby. visit coastal villages and towns like braunton, croyde, woolacombe, lynmouth, lynton, westward ho! and ilfracombe, all of which are within a short drive. alternatively, you could make the journey on ms oldenburg to beautiful lundy island. the national trust property arlington court is just 6 miles away.
the main entrance into this beautifully designed property is on the ground floor. a large glass door leads in from the patio to the kitchen/diner, which features an impressive vaulted ceiling and high beams. equipped with an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and nespresso coffee machine, it has everything you need to cater for the family. a cupboard in the hallway houses the washer/dryer. located on the first floor is the impressive lounge with a full-height feature window allowing fine views across the meadowland, plus a smart tv/dvd and a contemporary wood burner for cosy family film nights. bi-fold doors open out onto the sunny patio. the master super-king-size bedroom boasts plenty of storage and a door leading out to a terrace with seating, along with a wet room with a shower and wc directly adjacent. from the corner of the kitchen, a solid wood staircase leads down to the lower-ground floor, where you will find two bedrooms: a comfortable double, and a king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a 2'6'' twin on request). both bedrooms are served by a separate contemporary bathroom with a shower over bath and wc.
heading outside from the ground floor, you'll find an attractive patio complete with a gas bbq and circular garden table for six. there is an outside shower with hot water - handy for rinsing down wetsuits or muddy paws after a day of exploring. in addition, outside the master bedroom is a separate terrace. the lower garden/driveway is enclosed by wooden fencing and two five-bar gates, the second of these gives direct access to 12 acres of meadowland with a stream running through, occasionally used by the owner’s sheep. there is parking for two cars on the driveway.
