Located on a country lane, with lovely views over open farmland and within easy reach of the village amenities less than 1.5 miles away, for shops, pubs, restaurants, and the lanchester valley walk from the village car park. there is a network of walking routes passing right by the gate, including connections to the famous coast-to-coast walk. spend memorable family days at hall hill farm, diggerland, and the beamish living museum of the north (7 miles). durham’s cathedral city is a must for river walks, museums, food and shopping. newcastle’s vibrant city, quayside dining and fantastic shopping are less than 15 miles away and hexham and barnard castle less than 27 miles. head into the north pennines aonb for a range of scenic walking and cycling routes.
